Owosso Twp. family searching for loved one last seen Saturday

Posted: Updated:

(03/29/13) - Aaron Idle, 30, was last seen early last Saturday morning.  Family and friends were out searching again Friday.

The search centered around Harmon-Patridge Park, and the Shiawassee River, near his Owosso Township home.

Someone spotted something in the river, the Shiawassee County Sheriff's Department sent someone from the dive team in, but it turned out to be nothing.

Idle was last seen near that park, walking from his Owosso Township home, around 12:30 a.m. last Saturday.

Police and his family believe he was walking to the Speedway gas station, just blocks away near M-52 and Getman Rd.

"I was worried when Sunday came around and we still hadn't seen him," said his mother Pam Idle.

She and her husband Al spent time with their son last Friday, but they've yet to receive that one call they're desperate to - that their son has been found safe.

They've shared his picture and his information the best way the know how - on Facebook and now they wait for information.

"We know it's out there. Somebody had to have seen something or heard something.  But we've got no response.  We haven't got a clue," they said.

The Shiawassee County Sheriff's Department is investigating.  Please call (989) 743-3411 if you have any information about Idle.
