SAGINAW (WJRT) -

(04/09/13) - Saginaw city leaders and Concerned Citizens of Saginaw will sign an agreement to form a police advisory committee to build stronger relationships between the community and police.

Both sides decided to pick up the pace on the effort, following the shooting death of Milton Hall. Hall - a mentally ill, homeless man - was shot and killed by six police officers last summer.

They say he was acting aggressively with a knife.

A signing ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday morning at 11:30 at the First Ward Community Center.
