(08/13/13) - Some nursing home patients who can't get to Back to the Bricks had the car show come to them, Tuesday.
About 60 antique and classic cars rolled into the Briarwood Manor campus of Heartland Health Care Center in Flint.
Briarwood Manor specializes in long term rehab, so there's not a lot of excitement in the patients' lives.
This is the fourth year the car show has been held at Briarwood Manor, and the patients love to see it.
"They've been asking me since January, 'When is Back to the Bricks?' 'Not until summertime, middle of August.' We started talking about it a few months ago and getting everything ready. They knew, they knew. We post everything online to them. They're excited," said Debbie Winters, of Briarwood Manor.
Many of the patients came outside to see the hot rods and muscle cars.
