(08/28/13) - Flint Mayor Dayne Walling talked to President Obama about youth violence.
Walling was one of 18 mayors at the White House, Tuesday, to brainstorm solutions.
Walling says they talked about the need for more early childhood education, literacy programs for adults and support for parents.
Flint Public Safety Director Alvern Locke was also in Washington D.C.
He joined Walling in a meeting with Attorney General Eric Holder.
