(09/09/13) - Another automotive pioneer now has a permanent home in Flint.
Monday morning, the Back to the Bricks Statue committee unveiled the statue of Walter P. Chrysler at Bishop International Airport.
Chrysler's statue is the fourth in a series of bronze statues honoring automotive greats.
"I think this is a wonderful recognition that Walter P Chrysler is a great innovator and to have it here in Flint shows and educates people that he first started out in flint," said Leven C. Weiss, Chrysler senior manager.
A video monitor listing all of Chrysler's achievements was put in place near his statue.
