Overpass reopens after accident

(09/11/13) - A bad accident shut down a busy overpass in Genesee County.

It happened around 7 p.m. on Hill Road, where it connects with US-23, in Mundy Township.

The Mundy Township fire department says that a motorcycle rear-ended a pick up truck.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 43-year-old Flint man, is in critical condition at local hospital.

The pick up driver is OK.

The overpass was shut down for over three hours, but it re-opened at around 10 p.m.
