(10/07/13) - Grand Blanc Township's Kyle Dunbar lost out on his chance to be named the winner of this season's Ink Master on Spike TV, but the owner of Almighty Tattoo is still in the running to compete on Tuesday night's live finale in a tattoo-off.
"Huge deal. Huge deal. We're looking forward to tonight and tomorrow. Go Kyle. Do what you got to do. Let's win it," said Tiger White, of Encore Sports Grill.
Dunbar's friends have turned Flint Township's Encore Sports Grill into a command center for a last minute social media campaign. Two eliminated contested will be voted back in by viewers to go head-to-head.
"He's just like everybody else. He wants to make it, do something great for his family, do something great for the area, so let's support him," White said.
White has hosted weekly watch parties at Encore throughout the season and has another planned for Tuesday night. He's spoken with Dunbar several times since last week's elimination.
"He took it in stride. He knows there's another opportunity, and we're going to get him there. There's no question in my mind that we're going to put him in the finale," White said.
This final day push has managed to bring his fans together.
"Me and my misses have known Kyle for 30 years. He's a good, hard worker. When he puts his thoughts to paper, it's immaculate work," said friend Archie Patterson.
"He's a great artist, and we need to support our own, and I'm here to support him. Go Kyle!," said Raheem Riley.
If Dunbar does make it into the big tattoo-off, another round of voting start on Tuesday night - one that could put him into the next season of Ink Master.
"We can get over 300 people here tomorrow, we're putting in some stronger Wi-Fi so you'll be able to vote while you're in here tomorrow. We'll be open at 8 o'clock, and we're looking forward to everybody coming out," White said.
You can vote once per day - per device.
