Longtime Genesee County educator dies at 64


(10/21/13) - The Lake Fenton community is mourning the loss of a former superintendent and educator who made a difference in Genesee County schools for 35 years.

Ralph Coaster died on Sunday.

The proud father of two daughters spent time in the Lake Fenton, Kearsley and Davison school districts.

He was an administrator, athletic director and teacher before retiring.

Mr. Coaster's leadership helped Lake Fenton pass a $30 million bond and build a new high school.

He was 64.
