(10/26/13) - There are several Halloween related events happening Saturday, Oct. 26. Below is a list of some of them.

The SPROUT Coalition is hosting the Healthy Halloween event from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. It's taking place at the Flint Farmers' Market. There will be food safety presentations, nutrition education, and healthy eating resources. Kids will also be able to take part in the Healthy Trick-or-Treat from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. There will be 12 trick-or-treat stations set up in the market. Click HERE for more information.

Genesee County Parks and Recreation wants to see some scary vehicles, as part of Dr. Frankenstein Revealed. They're celebrating Halloween at the Mounds. At 3 p.m. you can compete for a 2014 Mounds Annual Permit, and crown several champions for having the most modified quad, motorcycle, jeep and truck. All vehicles must have a State of Michigan ORV permit and a pass for the Mounds. Click HERE for more information.

The Saginaw Valley Naval Ship Museum is hosting a Halloween program tonight. It runs from 5-8:30 p.m. on board the USS Edson. It's docked at 1680 Marion, Bay City. That's at the Independence Bridge public boat access. Cost for the event is $10 per family. Kids are encouraged to dress up. Adult costumes are optional.

Jim Waldron Buick GMC is hosting its 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat. It runs from 2-5 p.m. It's free to participate. Jim Waldron is located at 1146 S. State Road, Davison.

Swan Valley United Methodist Church in Thomas Township is also hosting a Trunk or Treat event. It starts at 5 p.m. You'll find the church at 9265 Geddes Road. Costumes are optional. Aside from candy, there will be hot dogs and drinks. You are asked to bring a dish to pass.
