(12/02/13) - Another statue of an automotive pioneer is ready to be bronzed.
Movers carefully loaded the likeness of Charles Nash onto a truck for the trip to a Clarkston foundry.
Nash was an executive in the early years of General Motors, before starting his own car company, Nash Motors.
"Underneath the banner of the name of the newspaper is going to be 'Charles Nash becomes president of General Motors,'" said sculptor Joe Rundell.
After it's bronzed, the statue of Nash will be placed at Flint's Bishop Airport near a figure of Walter Chrysler.
