(12/05/13) - A Mid-Michigan dancing sensation is back home after a whirlwind experience that went world-wide.
It was the dance-off seen around the world. Flint fifth grader Antwain Alexander and a Palace of Auburn Hills usher going toe to toe at a Pistons game last week.
By the end of the week, Antwain was known as the 'dance cam kid.'
His performance got more than 7 million YouTube hits, and he spent time in the spotlight on Good Morning America and Jimmy Kimmel Live. He also showed off a few moves Thursday on ABC12 News This Morning.
After that brush with fame, it's back to normal - at least for now.
We went along with Antwain as he headed back to his classroom at Randels Elementary in the Carman-Ainsworth school district.
"The video went viral and now I'm here. Almost back to normal. I don't know if it will be back to normal," he said.
Before Mrs. Dunstan started her lesson, she let Antwain take the lead.
First a classroom dance. After that - an opportunity to share his experience with classmates.
Despite his new found stardom, Antwain says he's happy to be back.
