Pig found wandering in Flint Monday morning

Posted: Updated:

(01/06/14) - In Flint, a pig was found wandering the snowy streets early Monday morning.

A family spotted the pig and a dog running near Court Street and Hazleton, in front of the Michigan School for the Deaf.

The family loaded it up in their pickup and took it to Animal Control.

Flint's Fire Chief was driving through the area shortly after the family stopped.

"Finding a pig, that's a first, and I've been around a long time. He was friendly so I assume he's been around people," said David Cox Jr., Flint Fire Chief.

If you think the pig might be yours, you should call Animal Control.
