(01/14/14) - The statue of a Flint-area automotive pioneer has been completed by its sculptor.
Joe Rundell has finished his work on Otto P. Graff and the statue is on its way to an Oakland County foundry to be bronzed.
Graff opened a car dealership in downtown Flint in 1914.
The real-life Graff stood 6 feet, 4 inches tall.
"I've made him 6 foot 6, 6 foot 7. He'll shrink by about an inch and a half as the bronze solidifies," Rundell said.
The Graff statue will stand at the intersection of Court and Saginaw.
