(01/16/14) - Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton says a Detroit man has been convicted in a 2012 triple murder in Flint.

A jury convicted 21-year-old James Simpkins of murdering his brother, a man and woman early in the morning on July 18.

The murders happened at a home on Tacken, near Court.

A fourth person was seriously hurt in the attack. She survived.

Police say the incident stemmed from an argument fueled by alcohol and drugs.
