SAGINAW (WJRT) -

(01/21/14) - The Saginaw County Board of Commissioners decided to gather more information before signing off on an agreement with Saginaw native and Pittsburgh Steeler LaMarr Woodley.

Woodley wants to donate $175,000 to the Dow Event Center's Unity Hall.

In the agreement, $125,000 of money would be used for renovations.

The rest would support public entertainment.

In exchange, Woodley would receive use of the hall or downtown's First Merit Event Park as well as other perks.

The Commission also said Woodley's side wants to make revisions to the agreement.

The board will revisit the plan next month.
