(01/22/14) - A Gladwin County man will spend at least 29 years in prison for shooting and kidnapping his ex-girlfriend.
Thirty-one-year-old Shaun Cleary was sentenced to 30-65 years in prison, Tuesday, with credit for one year served.
It was last January when Cleary was arrested after his ex-girlfriend managed to escape from the Gladwin County home and get help.
She survived the shooting and was held captive for about four days.
Cleary had been released from prison in 2011 after serving 10 years for a similar crime.
