GRAND BLANC (WJRT) -

(01/30/14) - A former youth baseball president plead guilty to stealing from the kids he was supposed to be helping.

Quincy Nichols was charged last summer, after parents for the Great Lakes Cyclones Baseball club in Grand Blanc complained he took money for uniforms and equipment to buy Tigers tickets and a gym membership.

As part of a plea deal, Nichols has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $14,000 from the club.

If he pays restitution, charges will be reduced.
