(01/30/14) - A popular vendor is leaving the Flint Farmers Market.
Coykendall Produce has reached an out of court settlement with Uptown Reinvestment Corporation, the owner of the market.
Coykendall was asked to leave last November, but filed suit to stop the eviction.
Uptown Reinvestment says the vendor mishandled a coupon program. Coykendall says the attempted eviction was retaliation for its opposition to the market's future move to downtown Flint.
Coykendall plans to move to the new market in Davison. Its last day in Flint is Feb. 8.
