FLINT (WJRT) -

(02/03/14) - Three teenagers, suspected in Flint's latest murder, are now in police custody and charged.

Jayre Reed, Lamar Williams II and Tavion Spiller are all charged with felony murder, two counts of assault with intent to murder, assault with intent to rob while armed and felony firearm in the Jan. 29 shooting death of 19-year-old Daren Bodwen.

Williams and Spiller each face one additional count of carrying a concealed weapon.

Investigators believe Bowden, from the Detroit area, was shot in the 1400 block of Eldorado Drive in Flint, but the two friends he was with, also from the Detroit area and unfamiliar with the area, drove him 50 miles away to a hospital in Royal Oak, where he died.

In a news release from the city, Flint Police Chief James Tolbert thanked the community for offering tips on their whereabouts and the suspects' families for urging them to surrender to police.
