    (12/25/2013) - Two people were taken to the hospital Wednesday after their SUV plunged into the Saginaw River. They were driving on the Center Street bridge in Saginaw around 6:00 p.m. when they lost
    One man is dead and another recovering, Saturday afternoon, after a SUV plunged off the Center Street Bridge Wednesday night.
SAGINAW (WJRT) -

(02/20/14) - The Saginaw man who was driving an SUV that crashed through ice on the Saginaw River, has pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge.

Police say Phillip McGowan lost control on the Center Street Bridge and went over the guardrail, into the icy river.

His passenger, Russell Nevitt, died.

McGowan was arraigned Wednesday for committing a moving violation causing death. He faces up to a year in jail, and/or fines.
