US-23 shut down for hours while police investigate crash

LIVINGSTON COUNTY (WJRT) -

(02/24/14) - The Livingston County Sheriff says the 31-year-old man, who was killed in an accident that shut down southbound US-23, is from Mount Morris.

The accident happened Saturday morning.

Deputies on the scene say the man was stopped in the right lane, just south of the White Lake exit, when he was rear-ended by a pickup truck.

Deputies arrested the pickup truck driver, a 49-year-old man from Fenton, on suspicion of drunken driving.
