Dallas, TX -

(03/11/14) - She's been on the run for almost a year, and police say she didn't surrender easily when officers first tried to arrest her Monday in Dallas, Texas.

U.S. Marshals Service Chief Deputy Trent Touchstone says Michelle McIntosh rammed into three police cruisers as officers and the North Texas Fugitive task force surrounded her car.

There was a brief chase, but then she pulled over, according to Touchstone.

He says they received a tip in June that she was in their area. They were able to locate her Monday and confirm it was her driving before attempting to stop her.

McIntosh, now 23, is charged in the April 22 murder of 22-year-old Havana Wright in Flint. The shooting happened outside of the Palm Tree Lounge. A security guard was also injured, but survived.

Authorities are in the process of trying to get her extradited to Michigan.
