Auburn man to be laid to rest after deadly SUV, house accident

BAY COUNTY (WJRT) -

(03/16/14) - The Auburn man killed March 9 when an SUV slammed into his house, will be laid to rest Monday.

Funeral services for 41-year-old Vaughn Lietzke will be held at Hopevale Church in Saginaw Township.

Visitation is being held Sunday at W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Home in Saginaw Township. There are two visitation times - 3-5 p.m. and again from 7-9 p.m.

Police say Lietzke was killed when 21-year-old Hunter Motko drove into his home.

Vaughn and his wife Sandra were sleeping at the time. Sandra was hurt, but survived.

The most serious charge Motko faces is Operating While Intoxicated Causing Death. It's a 15 year felony charge.
