(03/18/14) - Tuesday, nursing students at Saginaw Valley State University made a special delivery to the Good Neighbors Mission in Saginaw.
They delivered food, clothes and other items for the needy. They also got the opportunity to learn how to better care for the homeless.
"We want to thank the students for having a heart for the people in the community. Many of them don't even live in this area, but when they heard the need, they moved out immediately and began to work and said, 'We're going to make sure, we're going to help you to serve people of this community,'" said Joyce Seales, acting director.
Aside from clothes and food, the Good Neighbors Mission also received a $200 donation from the Saginaw County Medical Society.
