(03/18/14) - Sentencing for Anthony Bennett, the man who confessed to killing a 4-year-old boy in Isabella County, has been pushed back to May 22.
Bennett was originally scheduled to be sentenced next week.
His attorney says sentencing was pushed back because Bennett could not meet with her to discuss a pre-sentence investigative report due to disciplinary issues.
Bennett pleaded guilty to second degree murder in the killing of Carnel Chamberlain in June 2012. Carnel's burned body was found under his mother's porch on the Saginaw Chippewa Reservation.
