A 62 year old man was shot and taken to Hurley Medical Center, where he's in stable condition.

"We are investigating a potential home invasion that has occurred with two suspects that were dressed in black, wearing black ski masks that had fired rounds into the house where the victim was struck once," said Lt. Tim Jones, with Flint Township Police.

The State Police crime lab is assisting in the investigation.

Officers are checking security cameras at a nearby businesses to see if they recorded anything connected to the crime.

Police dogs spotted some evidence near the scene.

Flint Township Police are looking for four men believed to be involved. They now say it doesn't appear to have been a random act.

Flint Township Police Lieutenant Tim Jones said investigators aren't sure yet what the connection is, but they believe the wounded homeowner and four men have one.

Pictures of two persons of interest were released Wednesday night.

One is 36-year-old Jose Juarez.  He's possibly driving a beige or tan Ford Expedition. The other man is also believed to be a 30-40 year old Hispanic male, name unknown. Police say the pair was likely waiting in an SUV while two armed men approached the man outside his Torrey Road home and shot him.

If you know anything, call Flint Township Police.

The victim is expected to be OK.
