(03/28/14) - Police are no longer looking for a man wanted in connection with a Thursday night shooting that injured a woman. Flint Police say he turned himself in to the Genesee County Jail Saturday afternoon.

Investigators now say the woman wasn't shot, but was hit by glass from the shattered window. She is in good condition. Initial reports indicated she had been shot in the face.

Police say the suspect opened fire while getting into a car carrying two women and a 3-year-old child. It happened in the 5800 block of Edgar Holt Drive around 10:15 p.m. They believe he then left on foot.

If you have information about the shooting, call Michigan State Police Trooper Jeffery Rodgers, at the Flint Police Department, at 810-237-6909 or Trooper Paul Arrowood at 810-237-6916.

This was the second shooting, with an injury, police were called to Thursday night. About three hours earlier, 21-year-old Irontae White was shot and killed in the 2100 block of Barbara Drive.
