(03/31/14) - Eight months after his death, police are still searching for leads
in the Ashton Hull murder case.
"I wish they could have grown together," said Precious Carlton, Ashton's mother.
Carlton choked back her tears as she described the love she had for her son. It's a love Ashton Hull only had two and a half months to experience with his own son, Jey-Den, before he was shot to death last August.
The 20-year old, Mott Community college student was attending a house party in the 700 block of East Morengo on Flint's north side. Police say Hull got into an argument with another party-goer. The fight carried over into the house, where Hull was shot several times.
According to detectives, perhaps as many as 10 other party-goers were there, but so far, no one has come forward. His family hopes you can help.
"Let us know what you know, so this person is not just out here. That if he can kill once, I'm sure that he can kill again. This is just not for my family. This is for any family that has to endure anything like this," Carlton said.
