FLINT (WJRT) -

(04/02/14) - Crime Stoppers is now offering a cash reward for information that helps police find 19-year-old Jina Collins.

She was last seen in Flint on New Year's Eve - Dec. 31.

A Flint Police detective is now assigned to the case too. That is also new.

"Her baby needs her desperately," said Donalee Ward, Collins' mother. "He cries for her every day."

Collins was last seen in the area near Pettibone Avenue and Fenton Road on Flint's south side.

"We need answers," said Jennifer White, Collins' sister. "We need to bring Jina home for her baby."

White has said Collins, who attended Durand High School, didn't have access to a working cell phone or a car. While it's not unusual for the her to not contact her family, even for extended amounts of time, White says she is typically in touch with friends. No one has heard from her in the last three months.

White is now caring for her now 18-month-old nephew in his mother's absence.

"I just ask the public please aware that she's out there. Hopefully someone will come forward with some answers," Ward said. "Set yourself free. Bring Jina home to us.

Anyone who has information regarding her whereabouts should call Crime Stoppers of Michigan at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or 1-800-773-2587. All calls and cash rewards are completely anonymous.
