FLINT (WJRT) -

(04/07/14) - A purse snatching, Sunday, ended with three people in custody, according to Michigan State Police.

Police say a man took a purse from a 70-year-old Flint woman as she left church, in the 3100 block of Lewis, around 2:30 Sunday afternoon. She was thrown to the ground, but not seriously injured.

Police tracked the person to a home, not far away, in the 1500 block of Wyoming. They say he was hiding in the attic and fought with police, before being arrested. A woman and another man, at the home, were also arrested. All three are in the Flint City Lockup.

Two small children at the home were turned over to family members.

If you have any information about the crime, please contact MSP Trooper Jeffery Rodgers or Trooper Paul Arrowood, at the Flint Police Department, at 810-237-6800.
