(04/16/14) - Firefighters in Saginaw were busy Wednesday afternoon at a house fire on the west side of the city.

When they arrived at the home, on the corner of Remington and Bond, they found smoke pouring from the second story.

They discovered a mattress was on fire in one of the bedrooms.

A young boy was treated at the scene for a breathing problem.

They were able to save the family dog.

No one else was hurt and they don't yet know what caused the fire.
