Gov. Snyder declares state of emergency for Marquette County

MARQUETTE COUNTY (WJRT) -

(04/17/14) - Gov. Snyder has declared a state of emergency for Marquette County in the Upper Peninsula.

This winter's extreme cold has caused more than $1.6 million in damage to water and sewer lines.

The state of emergency will give the county the access to state resources.
