MICHIGAN (WJRT) -

(04/18/14) - Michigan could be in line to get nearly $2 million in federal block grants for specialty crops.

It's because of the Farm Bill.

Democratic Senator Debbie Stabenow says grants will help growers sell their produce, protect crops from pests and improve production.

The grants are an increase over last year.
