The Michigan State Police detective on the case says dental records confirm it was 30-year-old Kimberly Schubel.

She had been reported missing from Sanilac County more than a year ago.

A worker, who was preparing the home for demolition by the Genesee County Land Bank, made the discovery April 9 at a home in the 6600 block of Eastmont.

Investigators are still trying to figure out how she died and how long her body had been there.
