MUNDY TOWNSHIP (WJRT) - (04/24/14) - It's starting to actually feel like spring outside, but kites and spirits were soaring inside Thursday night's third annual kite tails and cocktails party for the Weiss Advocacy Center.

More than 2,000 cases of child abuse are confirmed in Genesee County every year.

The Weiss Advocacy Center provides services, support and hope to victims and families.

The non-profit organization recognized the law enforcement, volunteer and community group of the year.

The Holiday Inn Gateway Center in Mundy Township hosted the fundraiser.
