Posted: Updated:
CLARE COUNTY (WJRT) - (04/30/14) - Michigan State Police fire investigators say the cause of the fire at the Clare County sheriff's home is undetermined.

The fire was reported Monday morning at the Sheriff's home on Pine Street in Harrison.

Strong winds spread the fire to two other homes.

Even though the cause was declared undetermined, investigators say electrical issues may have been to blame.

If you'd like to help the family, a fund has been set up through Mid Michigan Community Action Agency. You can send a donation to:

MMCAA, P.O. Box 768, Farwell, MI 48622

Checks and money orders can be made payable to: MMCAA on behalf of the Wilson Family. Credit card donations will be accepted, beginning the middle of next week, by going to www.mmcaa.org.

Donations can also be dropped off at the Sheriff's Department.

A tupperware fundraiser is also being held. The Wilson family will receive 40 percent of the cost as a cash donation from anything that is purchased. The brochures will be circulated.
