Kroger will no longer double coupons in Michigan

MID-MICHIGAN (WJRT) - (05/03/14) - A grocery shopping change may affect your budget.

If you use coupons at Kroger, you're about to get a lot less money for them.

Kroger has just announced it will no longer double coupons at its Michigan stores.

All stores currently double coupons up to 50 cents, with many stores here in Mid-Michigan doubling to $1.

That all ends on May 14.

Kroger will still accept coupons, just not double them.

The company says less than one percent of its shoppers are traditional coupon users.
