WILLIAMS TOWNSHIP (WJRT) - (05/04/14) - A mother and her infant daughter had to be rescued from a burning mini-van Saturday night.

The Bay County Sheriff's Office say 29-year-old Shannon Lang was driving a 2007 green Dodge Grand Caravan.

Lang's mini-van rolled over, and caught fire on U.S. 10 near 11 Mile Road, in Williams Township.

Bystanders pulled Lang and her nearly 6-month-old daughter, Khaleesi Lang, from the mini-van.

Both were checked out at the scene, and then taken to a hospital in Midland.

We don't know their conditions.

U.S. 10 was closed for several hours while police investigated.

The Bay County Sheriff's Office says alcohol may be a factor in the crash.
