GENESEE COUNTY (WJRT) -
(05/15/14) - Another day with no relief from this rainy weather.

As some residents watch their property lines, local businesses are also feeling frustrated and waterlogged.

Soggy lawns and wet conditions are preventing some landscaping companies from doing their job.

Josh Beaudry, the owner of U-S Lawns of Flint, walked us around one of the properties he maintains in Genesee County.

There was so much run off, the water was streaming from the grass to the parking lot.

"It's been definitely difficult because we can not get any type of machinery on this to maintain the grass right now," Beaudry said.

Because of wet conditions, he sidelined his crew.

Instead of maintaining lawns, they're maintaining equipment while waiting for wet conditions to dry up.

"We are going to have to work weekends and make up for lost time. Soon as we get a nice break in the weather we are going to take advantage of that," Beaudry said.

Beaudry's company strictly handles commercial property, not residential property.
