Shooting death of Milton Hall leads to improvements at Saginaw Police Department

Posted: Updated:
SAGINAW COUNTY (WJRT) - (05/19/14) - Saginaw Police say the shooting death of Milton Hall has lead to improvements in how the department communicates with a mental health agency.

Officers say Hall refused to drop a knife before he was shot 11 times in a parking lot in July 2012.

The shooting led to a $725,000 lawsuit settlement between the city of Saginaw and Hall's family.

The settlement still needs to be approved in federal court.
