MIDLAND (WJRT) - (06/01/14) - Big crowds came out to find priceless treasures at a premier event happening in Mid-Michigan this weekend.

One of Michigan's Largest Antique & Collectible Festivals took place at the Midland County Fairgrounds.

Organizers say the big crowds mean great things for the local economy.

"The cities need to support these festivals. It really, really is the heart of tourism. It fills the hotels, it fills the restaurants," said
Lori Oberline, promoter of the Michigan Antique Festival.

"I see a lot of people here like to buy local, so they want to push the local economy," said vendor Anthony Acosta, Distressed Design.
