GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP (WJRT) -
(06/10/14) - It's something we thought we would not see for a long time - gas prices above the $4 mark.
Tuesday afternoon, a few stations in Grand Blanc Township were on the rise again to $4.15.
"$4.15 is a lot of money for gas. And we're supposed to have the best reserve we've ever had in the history of U.S. right now, so what's going on?" said driver Mark Lennox.
"I think they're getting ridiculously high. They always have some fictitious reason for them going up. A pipeline's broke. There's a war. Whatever it is, it doesn't really matter. It's just getting out of hand. $4.15, $4.16 a gallon is ridiculous," said driver Pat Stammers.
We did find some gas stations who are selling fuel much cheaper than $4.15.
The Shell on West Vienna Road, near North Jennings Road, in Clio has gas for $3.75 a gallon.
In Saginaw, the Super-Flite, on East Johnson and South Westervelt, has fuel for $3.79 a gallon.
In Bay City, the Marathon on Wilder Road and State Park Drive has fuel for $3.88 a gallon.
