SAGINAW COUNTY (WJRT) - (06/13/14) - Clean up is underway in areas hit hard by Wednesday's storm.

Volunteers from Home Depot are out helping families.

They're helping to remove branches from a home near St. Charles.

The storm blew through Wednesday night, taking down power lines and a number of trees. A couple of garages were blown to pieces. A barn was also partially destroyed.

Well, home depot volunteer are working at the home where the barn was damaged. A lot of tree branches are scattered in the backyard.

The volunteers started at 9 a.m. Friday.

We're told the Home Depot volunteers are just about a third of the way done at that home. They are determined to keep working until most of the tree branches are picked up.
