SAGINAW (WJRT) - (06/17/14) - Churches, businesses and plenty of volunteers are coming together this week to fix up some Saginaw neighborhoods.

'One Week One Street' is a week-long community project developed by Great Lakes Bay Region churches and businesses to fix up homes and clean up the surrounding areas.

A couple of hundred volunteers worked Monday and Tuesday, mainly on Harold Street near Genesee Avenue on the city's east side.

Some of the companies helping out include Lowe's, Nexteer, Dow Corning and First Merit Bank.

The project ends Friday.
