Mid-Michigan residents don't like what was left behind when an abandoned home was torn down

Posted: Updated:
(06/25/14) - The fight against blight in several Mid-Michigan communities has been welcomed by neighbors, but people along one Flint street say what was left behind when an abandon home was torn down is dangerous.

1910 Barth Street is one of several homes that was demolished recently by the Genesee County Land Bank.

It's gone now, but a large hole where the basement was remains.

Neighbors say they're afraid to let their children go anywhere near it.
