BAY COUNTY (WJRT) -
(07/03/14) - Bay County will receive more than $1 million to repair Euclid Avenue.
Specifically, they're looking to repair from Salzburg to North Union avenue.
State Representative Charles Brunner says water main breaks are the main reason that area is so bumpy.
The city must first fix the water line before crews can start on the road.
"Once they do that, the money definitely has been appropriated through the Road and Risk Reserve Fund to put a new lane in Euclid Avenue. Anyone who travels this road will know exactly what I'm talking about," Brunner said.
In total, $115 million will be used to fix up roads across the state.
