Skaterboarder holding onto moving Jeep seriously hurt

HURON COUNTY (WJRT) - (07/05/14) - A 22-year-old from Wayne County is fighting for his life following a Friday accident involving a skateboard and a Jeep.

The Huron County Sheriff tells us Travis Killingsworth was holding onto the side of a moving Jeep, while skateboarding.

His foot hit a wheel on the car, sending him to the ground along Sand Road west of Gagetown Road in  Caseville Township.

Killingsworth was not wearing a helmet, and is now battling a serious head injury.

A 21-year-old was driving the Jeep.

The investigation into the accident continues.
