Pollution at demolished GM facilities could be cleaned up next year

LANSING (WJRT) - (07/07/14) - Pollution at three demolished Lansing-area General Motors facilities could be cleaned up starting next year.

The Revitalizing Auto Communities Environmental Response, or RACER Trust, sent information about contamination to state regulators.

A community meeting is Tuesday.

The RACER Trust took over sites around the country left behind in General Motors' bankruptcy, including several in Mid-Michigan, like the the former Buick City site.
