Huron County deputies make two heroin-related arrests

HURON COUNTY (WJRT) - (07/07/14) - The Huron County Sheriff's Office made two heroin-related arrests over the long holiday weekend.

The sheriff says 35-year-old Tracy Janik of Ubly was arrested Thursday night after selling the drug in the Bad Axe Walmart parking lot.

Monday, a judge formally charged the woman with selling heroin.

Then on Saturday, deputies from Huron County got a tip about two women delivering drugs from Detroit.

Deputies pulled them over in Tuscola County's Unionville and arrested the 29-year-old passenger.

She's identified as Autumn Peruski of Gagetown.

Monday, a judge charged her with heroin possession. The driver may also be charged.

The Huron County Sheriff's Office says you can call in drug tips to 989-269-6500 during normal business hours or Huron Central Dispatch's non-emergency line at 989-269-6421 anytime.

In addition, confidential callers can use their TIPS Line at 989-269-2861.
