FENTON (WJRT) -
(07/10/14) - Melissa Miller is ready for her run at reality TV fame. The Fenton High School grad is a contestant on the latest episode of CMT's "Broken Skull Challenge."
"I'm super excited, but super nervous about how they're going to portray me on the air," she said.
The show was shot in LA back in March. Up for grabs in this obstacle style competition is $10,000. Miller played soccer at Oakland U, and while she has a passion for working out, she was the only competitor that wasn't a fitness professional.
"There was an MMA fighter. I was little nervous about her. Not going to lie, but other than that, I came in with a really good mind set," she said.
Miller admits she didn't become best friends with all of her opponents.
"It was well-deserved trash talk. I don't give it when it's not deserved. I'm a nice person in general," Miller said.
Speaking of nice people, she had nothing but good things to say about the show's host - former WWE wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin.
"Super down to earth, absolutely hilarious. Everything you would expect. Everything you see on TV is how he is in real life, just a really funny guy," Miller said.
Miller's currently working on becoming a personal trainer and is also studying at UM-Flint, with plans to become an elementary school teacher, but she'd still like to try her luck on a few other reality shows.
"The Amazing Race, Survivor, something else like that, just anything with a physical challenge, but first things first, I want to finish my degree in school," she said.
As far as how she did on Broken Skull Challenge, we'll just have to wait and see.
"I can't say anything more. Can't spill the beans," she said.
